Come on people - what's the use of complaining that our goverfnments are not doing enough when we can't even commit to making 5 small changes in our own lives.
I am not asking you to save the planet single handedly - just make a few simple changes - believe they will help!
SO come on - if you visit this site
- leave a comment; and
- email me for the html code to add our little banner/sign to you website or blog.
- If you don't have a website or blog please tell us that you are going to make changes anyway.

Soozi,
Just keep on with it no matter how frustrating. Keep on pounding. Mother earth in spite of being trampled on, just keeps on revolving and rotating. With some shaking, spewing, flooding, drying, sneezing, etc., in between. Some, that include you and me, worry about her. Others, in God's time, with a little push and shove, will be awaken and do more. Let's pray unceasingly. God bless.
Hi All
I say lets all do what we can it doesnt have to cost anything and although we may not be here for a long time we are here for a good time and if the planet is suffering our time wont be all that good.
cheers
Jayne
Hi Soozii/All,
I came, I saw, I commented ... (well - at the moment I am still writing the comment, but if you are reading this then I must have finised doing it ;-)
I didn't e-mail to get the code - I just copied it from the blog that led me here (http://birdwomanau.blogspot.com/) - I figured it was quicker and easier that way ... btw, we already have energy saving shower heads and light globes, I try to walk places instead of driving if I can(but unfortunately most places I go are too far for that) and the sprinklers in the garden have not been turned on for at least a couple of years (when the water resrictions have been eased to allow sprinkers, there has been enough rain that we didn't actually need to use them - because the garden is mostly native plants ;-)
I have also planted quite a few trees when I have gone to help on projects with Landcare/Greening Australia/etc.
oh - and I also recycle/re-use stuff if I can ... especially yarn and fabric - LOL (yes I am into textile art/quilting/crochet/etc - and I like the whole idea of "patchwork" being about using recycled/scrap fabric to create something useful and/or artistic)
... but I do need to try and not spend quite so long in the shower ...
Good work! I'll mail you for the html code and will put it on both my blogs (English and Dutch)!
Linda
