Solar Electricity

I have just signed up for Solar Electricity and hopefully it should be on the roof and up and running by the end of the month.

Our city (Blacktown) has been fortunate enough to be chosen as Blacktown Solar City by the Federal government and the residents are reaping the benefits with rebates on solar electricity and solar hot water. As we already had the hot water I have opted for the electricity as well.

Now you don't have to go as far as this - how about taking a couple of small steps in the right direction - change to energy efficient light globes, start a compost bin or just put a 'no junk mail' sticker on your letterbox!

i wanted to say hi! i stopped by. Great stuff. That's great about the solar. It will reduce the need for coal burning electrical generation, the #1 source of Co2.... then we need to get rid of these gas burning POS cars!(and reduce the need for them)
...then plant trees, conserve water, and RECYCLE everything RECYCLEable. Buy 100% post consumer recycled Products and food with minimal packaging, and from companies with good environmental practices(not just policies). if everyone took a small step, it would be a giant leap for mankind!

Thanx for the great bloggings!
